John R. Day is a CPA, having graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Accounting. He then continued at the University of Georgia to receive a Masters degree in Accounting.
John worked at one of the world’s largest CPA firms for twelve years. He served as Vice-President and Controller for Charter Medical Corporation from 1986-1995. John later became the Chief Financial Officer for CareSouth Health Systems until the company was sold in 1998.
He has extensive experience with stock offerings. He has assisted corporations and small businesses as well as individuals with financial planning.
John has the designation CPA/PFS and is a Registered Financial Advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (www.napfa.org). He is also a member of the Personal Financial Planning Division of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the Financial Planning Association. He is currently on the AICPA’s National CPA Financial Insights Panel. He has served as Treasurer of United Way in Macon and as President of the Macon Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Macon and is a founding member of the Investment Advisors Peer Council™.
A native of Waynesboro, Georgia, John and his wife Diana have two daughters. He enjoys jogging, playing golf and hiking in the mountains.
Bill Ennis is also a CPA. He received an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Columbus State University and a Masters degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia. Early in his career, Bill worked for ten years at an international CPA firm in Atlanta, Georgia. He then served as Vice-President of Internal Audit for Charter Medical Corporation. Later, he was Vice-President of Business Ethics and Compliance for Charter Behavioral Health Systems. Prior to joining the firm he was Director of Finance for a regional health care company. With his experience and background, Bill brings a broad business perspective to our company.
Bill has the designation CPA/PFS and is a Registered Financial Advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.(www.napfa.org). He is also a member of the Personal Financial Planning Division of the American Institute of CPAs. He has served as Treasurer and Board member of the Downtown Macon Rotary Club and has been Chairman of the Board of the Macon Volunteer Clinic. He has also been on the Planned Giving Committee of the Medcen Community Health Foundation and is a member of the Macon Estate Planning Council.
Bill has two children, Spencer and Rebecca. His hobbies include running and flying airplanes. Originally from Columbus, Georgia, Bill has made Macon his home since 1989.

Stephanie Davidson is a Partner at Day & Ennis, LLC and is the Operational Officer for the firm. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993 and has the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. She is also a Registered Financial Advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (www.napfa.org). A native of Byron, Georgia, Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Accounting from Georgia College in 1991.
Stephanie served for many years as Corporate Accountant for the Bluebird Corporation and has also worked as the Controller for Lowe Electric Corporation.
In addition to her work for Day & Ennis, Stephanie serves as Treasurer and Board Member for the Macon Volunteer Clinic. She is a member of the Macon Estate Planning Council and the Georgia Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs and the National Association of Professional Women. She is past Treasurer of the Peach County High School Soccer Booster Club.
Stephanie has two daughters. When she is not working on financial plans for our clients, she likes to relax by gardening and scrapbooking.
Matt Heller is a Senior Financial Planner at Day & Ennis. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™, having attained the certification issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He is also a Registered Financial Advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.(www.napfa.org).
Matt has worked extensively in financial planning for healthcare professionals. He managed the retirement plan and was the lead financial planner for the Central Georgia Healthcare System, Navicent Health. This is one of the largest healthcare retirement plans in the state. He also managed the Upson Regional Medical Center retirement plan prior to joining Day & Ennis.
Matt is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Macon, which is sponsored by the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Macon Estate Planning Council and the Rotary Club of Macon.He is also an alum of GeorgiaForward’s Young Gamechangers. This leadership action program brings together 50 of Georgia’s brightest minds under the age of 40, to help solve persistent challenges of a selected Georgia community.
A native of Conyers, Georgia, Matt received his BS from Georgia Southern University in 2004. He received his MBA from Georgia Southern University in 2010 and completed the Executive Financial Planner Program through the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He and his wife Jennifer have a son, Stone. Matt is an avid golfer and loves to travel.
Susie Bilimoria serves as our Manager of Portfolio Accounting. She has a BBA from Georgia College and State University in Business Information Systems (1982) and Accounting (1984).
Susie has been with Day & Ennis since 2001. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in Financial Services at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
A native of Tennille, Georgia, Susie is married and has three daughters. She relaxes by reading, walking and playing scrabble.
Mary Martha DeFoor is our Office Coordinator and Service Advisor. Mary Martha grew up in Lanett, Alabama on the Alabama-Georgia state line. She attended Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Family Business.
Over the next few years, she hopes to continue her education and become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™. In May of this year, she married Briggs DeFoor of Macon, who works with his local family business, DeFoor Drywall and Acoustical Supply.
Mary Martha enjoys attending Pure Barre exercise classes, cheering on her Auburn Tigers and traveling when she can.
